Hello

I’m Alyse, a UX designer driven by a passion for crafting intuitive, user-centered experiences. With a rich background that includes work at MIT’s Media Lab and Halo Neuroscience, followed by my current role on the design team at Valtech, I bring a wealth of expertise to every project I tackle. My experience spans a diverse range of industries, with a particular focus on cybersecurity, finance and digital health, where I’ve honed my ability to design with precision and empathy.

Before transitioning into design, I was a psychology researcher at a Harvard cognition lab, where I cultivated a deep understanding of behavior—insights that have profoundly shaped my user-centric approach. I believe that the key to exceptional design lies in truly understanding the people you're designing for. Whether through user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, or visual design, I approach each project with a data-driven mindset and a commitment to creating impactful solutions.

I thrive on collaboration, working closely with teams to develop design strategies that boost user engagement and satisfaction. Beyond my design work, I’m also a classically trained opera singer, and I currently perform with The New York Choral Society. When I'm not designing, you’ll often find me attending a performance at the Metropolitan Opera.

Currently, I’m expanding my horizons by learning French, further embracing my love for language and culture. As a designer, researcher, and musician, my mission is simple: to create experiences that make life not only easier but more enjoyable.
